How We Stay Well

WellFolk is a new lifestyle brand that promotes a proactive and

holistic approach to wellness as the pathway to optimal living.

About Us

WellFolk is a lifestyle brand dedicated to helping you thrive daily. We believe

healthful living is proactive and requires ongoing monitoring and evaluation of at least

8 dimensions of wellness. We view wellness as a lifelong creative endeavor that requires equal

parts of fun and progression. Our goal is to keep you current regarding the latest health

tips, research, technology, and lifestyle programs that cultivates optimal health.

Guiding Principles:

"Health is a state

of complete physical,

mental, social, and

(spiritual) well-being and not merely the absence

of disease or infirmity."

- World Health Organization -

Wellness is multidimensional

including at least

eight interconnected domains of life.

A proactive and a

holistic approach to wellness is a pathway to

optimal health, life balance,

and strengthening

resilience.

Our Motto

We believe it is important to develop a personalized approach to wellness and we

understand that it will look different for everyone. For that reason, our guiding principles are broad and

provide a basic framework for planning and goal setting. Our motto serves as a reminder:

   Evalu8. Prioritize. Thrive Daily.

  • Evalu8 signifies that we have at least eight areas that require ongoing assessment and maintenance.

  • Prioritize emphasizes the importance of determining which areas need attention, followed by a plan to support improvement in those areas.

  • Thrive Daily serves as a reminder to keep moving forward. Even under the most difficult of circumstances we have a great capacity for resilience, which helps us to adapt in the face of adversity, to make adjustments, and bounce back stronger than before.

The 8 Dimensions of Wellness

There are at least eight dimensions of life that are equally vital and linked to our well-being.  Research

indicates that problems in one area can adversely affect our overall health and significantly decrease our

quality of life. While there are many ways to stay well, we use a comprehensive approach that attends to the

emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, occupational, social and spiritual dimensions of life.
